Fastway Couriers provides a prepaid courier service for packages of up to 25 kilos cubic weight (varies from 20 to 30 kilos in some countries). Initially the service is aimed at the local metropolitan markets within each Regional Franchise territory. This gives customers a reliable and prompt delivery service (a.m. pick up – p.m. delivery, or p.m. pick up - next a.m. delivery) at a very competitive price.
As the number of Regional Franchises grows, and as each becomes more established, shorthaul and national delivery services form part of the marketplace offer.
Prepaid labels enable customers to make savings on their usual freight costs, as well as providing a simple system free of any extra paperwork or add on charges.
The service is targeted towards small and medium sized customers who need predictability of costs combined with reliable service. Fastway’s courier services are organised on a cycle basis as opposed to urgent or point to point services. Couriers return to the Regional Franchisee’s depot at the end of each cycle for the exchange of freight to take place. During cycles, they cover their entire territories working to preset timetables. |
